Welcome to My Climb the Wall Page!
I’m stepping up for clean air!
I will be participating in the BC Lung Association's Climb the Wall: the Stairclimb for Clean Air 2019, happening February 24, 2019. At this unique event, participants challenge themselves against the 48 storeys of the Sheraton Vancouver Wall Centre Hotel (that’s 739 steps) and collect donations in support of the BC Lung Association's efforts and outreach in the lung health community.
I know so many of us have been impacted by lung disease, either personally, or through those we love. I am challenging my lungs for those that simply cannot. The money we raise will support the BC Lung Association's efforts in air quality and tobacco prevention initiatives, patient support programs and lung health medical research. We all breathe the air. The fight belongs to all of us.
This year is a little special. I will be part of a team made up of members of the Burnaby Fire Department who will be dedicating this year's Stairclimb to a member who recently retired and is currently battling cancer. We currently have over 20+ members and our goal is to raise as much funds as we can to help out one of our brothers and his family through this tough time and to support the BC Lung Association.
Please donate online to my personal fundraising page, provided in the link below. A tax receipt will be issued automatically via email. For more information about Climb the Wall: the Stairclimb for Clean Air please visit www.stairclimb.ca.
